Elwee Prinsloo
(Program Coordinator)

 


Elwee is an experienced coach that is involved with the development of the game in Perth,  Australia. He has been involved in several development and representative programs developing and preparing talented individuals for a career in rugby. Elwee has gained tremendous rugby knowledge and experiences from playing the game in various countries and also through coaching accreditations and specialist coaching courses like the High Performance Coaching course at the International Rugby Academy in New Zealand. Elwee has had some outstanding results promoting several players to the representative levels of rugby and also gaining respect through his results as a successful team coach. Elwee’s expertise is in the following areas of the game: The development and implementation of:

  • Defensive structures and patterns 
  • Attacking structures and patterns

JP Caneiro
(Physiotherapist)

 


JP completed his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at Curtin University, in 2006. He initially trained in Brazil where he completed a Masters of Science in Human Movement (emphasis in biomechanics).

In Brazil he worked with soccer, Brazilian jiujutsu, volleyball and was also involved in undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy education. Living in Perth since 2005, JP has worked with women’s hockey and gymnastics, WAFL and Rugby WA. JP is currently the team physio for the Western Force Rugby Academy. In addition to his clinical work, JP works as a tutor and research officer at Curtin University.



Simone Allen
(Sports Nutritionist)

Jensen Heusi
(Strength and Conditioning Coach)

 

Completed his Batchelor of Science in Physical Educations and Human Movement at the University of Brazil. He is a Professor in Capoeira and an experienced Bio-gymnastics instructor and coach. He specializes in the following areas:

  • Stretching and Flexibility
  • Sports Rehabilitation
  • Bio-gymnastics
  • Physiology and Practice in Bodybuilding
  • Basic Sports Nutrition
  • Specialist strength and Conditioning - Elite athletes


Gavin Williams
(Career Advisor)

 


Gavin Williams is a Career Guidance Practitioner with experience in delivering career development services to Youth and Emerging Professionals in sport. Presently completing a Masters in Career Development, Gavin has a long association with Rugby Union having played representative rugby at state and schoolboy levels.

Combined with his experience in schools and private practice, Gavin will significantly contribute to the Academy Members development and success as future professional rugby union players. Currently Career and Education Advisor to the Emirates Western Force Gavin brings with him a strong understanding of the demands of elite sport and the tools required to maximize success both on and off the field.



Greg Mitchell
(Behavior Management Specialist)

 


Greg Mitchell is a dedicated “Culture Wrangler”! His aim is to improve the culture of organizations, whether they be a preprimary class or a corporate boardroom. Relaxed, friendly, and fun but radically honest, he seeks to deliver serious messages in the most positive way possible.

Based in Perth, Western Australia, Greg work throughout Australia, and in more recent times internationally, with schools, training authorities, government agencies and businesses. Dedicated to always giving his best, Greg provide the same service to smallest group in a tiny country town or to a huge audience in a capital city. Everyone matters!
